Garrett T04B-R turbocharger:
Our turbo units start off as a stock
T04B then we custom modify the turbine
(exhaust) side to provide better flow
at higher RPM.
Cast iron exhaust manifold:
We use a cast manifold as opposed to
a welded stainless steel manifold because
they are much more durable than even
the best tubular manifolds.
Turbonetics Deltagate wastegate
(7psi): The spring on the wastegate
will limit boost to 7psi unless a boost
controller is used.
Downpipe: The downpipe
comes to you unassembled...
Front mount intercooler and
intercooler piping: Our kit
comes with a massive intercooler that
is front mounted. The core alone, without
end-tanks attached, measures 24" x 11"
x 2.75"!
BOV: We use a Bosch
blow-off valve. We've had very good
results with the Bosch unit. The internal
spring is strong enough stay closed
at idle yet soft enough to open at part-throttle/low
boost levels (which is a good thing).
Fuel Pump: Walbro in-tank
replacement high-flow fuel pump.
This is not an add-on inline fuel pump
so it doesn't take any room in your
engine compartment or under your car.
And it's not a cheap in-tank unit.
Fuel Management Unit:
The FMU keeps stock fuel pressures during
off-boost operation and adds 7psi of
fuel pressure to the fuel rail with
every 1psi of boost.
All related hoses, lines,
clamps and miscellaneous hardware:
We supply all of the things you'll need
to complete the installation of this
kit. You won't find yourself driving
to the auto-parts store to find a bolt,
nut, bracket or anything. If it's needed
to install our turbo upgrade kit, it's
in the box.

A
complete kit, this stage will give around 240HP at
the wheels and includes all necessary hardware and
parts to turbocharge your 240SX. |

ARC2: The ARC2, designed
and built by Split Second, is by far
the best dedicated fuel controller we've
ever seen. Included in the system is
a replacement 83mm MAF meter. A further
upgrade is an even larger, freer flowing
87mm MAF meter.
Fuel Injectors: Replace
the factory 285cc units with 385cc drop-in
replacements. Injectors are by RC Engineering
or Blitz and can squirt enough fuel
to support up to 400hp.
To be able to get any benefit
from this upgrade you must turn up the
boost, but you probably noticed
that we don't include the boost controller.
The reason we don’t include the boost
controller in this stage is because
we don’t want to sell you something
you don’t want. Prices vary for different
boost controllers and we know different
customers will want different boost
controllers. Here are the units we stock
but keep in mind that we can get pretty
much any boost controller you want.
Whatever you do to control your boost
above the wastegate's 7psi, we recommend
using an electronic controller. They
are much more accurate than those less-expensive
manual controllers (they're cheaper
for a reason!) and much more reliable
because they provide the same boost
all the time. Some of the more sophisticated
versions even correct for changes in
elevation. Manual controllers tend to
vary boost when driving in different
weather conditions. Driving on a cold
evening will give you much different
boost levels than when driving on a
hot day, even with the manual controller
set at the same setting.

Stage
2 makes it safe to turn up the boost by adding more
fuel than your factory injectors would normally provide
and is good for nearly 300HP. At this stage we recommend
strengthening your bottom end (pistons, rings, rods).
Stage 2 consists of all the parts from the Stage 1
kit plus more. |

|
Pistons and Rings: $749
- Rings are manufactured by ROSS to
custom GT PRO specifications utilizing
custom wrist pins and spiral lox (stock
wrist pin sizes also available upon
request). Rings are by Total Seal.
Rods: $795 - Our
rods are manufactured by Pauter to custom
GT PRO specifications. 4340 chromoly
"X" beam construction. Rod set includes
ARP fastening hardware.
Also available: Cam
regrinds Custom porting/polishing Full
machine work available.

Stage 3 includes all
of the parts from Stages 1 & 2 as well as the necessary
parts to strengthen your bottom end. If you’ve followed
our upgrade path, you’ll have enough fuel and airflow
to support boost levels of up to 25psi! But the stock
bottom end absolutely will not survive at these performance
levels.
